Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and MSJ Advertising, a business registered in Ghana ("we", "us"), for the use of Meira 16 (the "service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you sign up for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it, and "you" means that business.

You must be at least 18 to use Meira 16.

2. Your account and workspace

• Give accurate details when you sign up and keep them up to date.
• Keep your password safe. We recommend turning on two-step sign-in. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• The person who creates a workspace is its founder. Founders and admins control who joins, what roles they have and whether the workspace is deleted.
• Tell us straight away at msjadvertising@gmail.com if you think someone has got into your account.

3. Free trial and plans

• New workspaces get an 8-day free trial with full features. We do not ask for a card to start.
• When the trial ends, your workspace moves to the Free plan unless you choose a paid plan. Free plan limits apply, but your data stays.
• Plan features, limits and prices are shown on our pricing page and in Billing. We may change them, but we will give paying customers at least 30 days' notice before a price rise affects them, and it will only apply from your next renewal.

4. Payments and renewal

• Payments are handled by Paystack. You can pay by card or mobile money.
• Prices are shown in US dollars. Until our US dollar account is active, we charge the equal amount in Ghana cedis using that day's exchange rate. Billing shows the exact amount before you pay. Your bank or mobile money provider may add its own fees.
• Plans are paid in advance, monthly or yearly.
• Automatic renewal: if you save a card and leave "Renew automatically" on, we charge it the day before your plan ends, for the same plan and period. If you pay by mobile money, we send a reminder before your plan is due.
• If a payment fails, you have 7 days to pay before your workspace moves to the Free plan.
• Prices do not include any taxes that may apply in your country.

5. Cancelling

You can cancel any time by turning off "Renew automatically" in Billing, or by emailing us. Your plan keeps running until the end of the period you paid for, then moves to the Free plan. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

6. Your data

• Everything your business adds to Meira 16 belongs to your business. We only use it to provide and support the service, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
• You are responsible for having the right to add personal data about your clients and staff, and for telling them how you use it, as data protection law requires.
• You can export your data from the app. If you delete your workspace, we remove its data as our Privacy Policy describes. Please export anything you need first.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use Meira 16 to:

• break any law, including data protection, consumer and anti-spam laws;
• send spam, or message people over email or WhatsApp who have not agreed to hear from you;
• store or share anything illegal, harmful, abusive or that infringes someone else's rights;
• try to get into other people's accounts or workspaces, or test, probe or attack our systems;
• copy, resell or rebuild the service, or overload it with automated requests outside our API limits.

If you break these rules, we may suspend or close your account. Where we can, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix it.

8. Connected services and AI

• When you connect Gmail, Microsoft 365, WhatsApp, Zapier or other services, their own terms also apply. We are not responsible for those services.
• Meira, the AI assistant, can make mistakes. Check important answers, figures and drafts before you rely on them or send them.

9. Our service

• We work hard to keep Meira 16 running and secure, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may need short breaks for maintenance.
• We keep improving Meira 16 and may add, change or remove features. If we remove something important you pay for, we will tell you in advance.
• Meira 16, its design, code and brand belong to MSJ Advertising. These terms give you the right to use the service, not to own it.
• If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, or for death or injury caused by negligence. If you are a consumer, your legal rights are not affected.

Apart from that:

• we are not liable for lost profits, lost business, lost data you could have exported, or indirect losses;
• our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in those 12 months.

You agree to cover our reasonable losses if a claim is made against us because of data you added or how you used the service in breach of these terms.

11. Closing your account

You can stop using Meira 16 and delete your workspace at any time. We may close an account that breaks these terms, or close a Free plan workspace that has not been used for over 12 months after warning you by email first.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using Meira 16 after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. If there is a problem, please contact us first and we will try to sort it out. If we cannot, the courts of Ghana will decide. If you are a consumer in another country, you may also have the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
